Welcome to Genesis Health and Social Care Services

Our organisation provides individualised care packages for adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions and physical disabilities who are limited or unable to independently manage day to day activities. As well as having these primary conditions, we understand that some people may have other longstanding medical conditions. As such, we provide specialised care and support to those with certain complex medical history including but not limited to chronic pain, cardiovascular conditions, respiratory conditions, neurological conditions, and genetic conditions such as sickle cell disease.

Our supported living services are designed to provide assistance with daily activities and community engagements whilst promoting independence. Everyone’s circumstances are different, our services will likely benefit those who:

  • Are leaving home for the first time

  • Live alone, isolated and restricted in accommodation unsuitable for their needs
  • Live in overcrowded homes with complex family dynamics and not receiving adequate support
  • Live in more dependent settings such as residential or nursing homes, mental health institutions and will require transitional support to independence
  • Are being discharged from hospital and need support to fully recover which could potentially reduce avoidable admissions

Regardless of your circumstance, our main focus is to enhance your quality of life by removing barriers. We aim to deliver high-quality, person-centred and holistic care that preserves your rights and reflects your choices and preferences.

Why Choose Us

Here, at Genesis Health and Social Care, we echo and embody the voice and standards of the social care independent regulator, Care Quality Commission. We fundamentally believe that autistic people and people with a learning disability are as entitled to live an ordinary life as any other citizen. Additionally, we believe that people living with chronic conditions, mental and physical impairments should also be able to live a fulfilling life not limited or defined by their condition.

At Genesis Health and Social Care, we will always strive to adopt the right support, right care and right culture to ensure our clients’ choices about the quality of life they want to live are implemented. We will ensure they are well informed and equipped to live as independently as possible in their homes and within the community.

Our main focus is quality of life and we will ensure our clients live a meaningful life; free from restrictions, seclusion, prejudice, and discrimination often associated with autistic people, people with learning disabilities, mental illnesses and physical disabilities.
